Business meetings are held on the 2nd Monday of each month at 7:00 pm in the Blessed Sacrament Parish hall except in July and August when the meetings are on Tuesday. Membership is required.
QUARTERLY ACTIVITIES
Corporate Communion: A chance for members to worship together with their families. Normally followed with the fellowship of going out to dinner together.
Parish Blood Drive: The council sponsors and hosts the parish blood drive. These drives average in obtaining 30 pints of life saving blood. They are open to the public and conducted by the Ernie Wallace Community Blood Bank. Please Consider Giving.
ANNUAL ACTIVITIES
Tootsie Roll Mi fund raiser: Each year, on Palm Sunday, the council holds a tootsie roll sale after masses. On average over $1,000 is raised and given to local organizations to help impaired children.
School Poster Contest: The council sponsors and puts up the prize money for an Anti Drug and Alcohol Abuse poster contest for the parish school. Winners can go on to district, diocesan and state contests.
Basket Ball Free Throw Contest: The council sponsors and puts up the prize money for a basket ball free throw contest for the parish youth every January. Winners can go on to district, diocesan and state contests.
OTHER ACTIVITIES
Soup Suppers for Seminarians: Several times a year we put on soup suppers after Saturday's 5:00 pm mass. These suppers raise money to support seminarians.
