The Cartridge World Recycling Program will help save our environment, raise funds for the Blessed Sacrament Community, keep within our Stewardship mission, and provide a convenient location for collecting inkjet and laser cartriges.

A cartridge collection bin will be placed in the parish center. You can drop off your cartridges from home or work whenever it is convenient. A representative from Cartridge World will pick up the used cartridges. We will receive $1.00 - $2.00 for each cartridge. Once a month Cartridge World will send Blessed Sacrament a check for the used cartridges.

If you would prefer to have your cartridge remanufactured, at approximately 50% cost savings, you can take your cartridge to Cartridge World. Tell them you are supporting the Blessed Sacrament recycling program and they will credit us with your business.

Meijer Community Rewards Update
Announced April 19, 2007
Customers will be able to use debit to receive rewards. Debit purchases will be treated just like cash, donating 0.5% of purchases to your school or religions organization.
The re-enrollment deadline has been extended to May 31, 2007.

Through your participation in the Meijer Community Rewards^SM program, Blessed Sacrament Church earns cash rewards every time you shop at Meijer.

Effective May 1, 2007, the following changes will occur to the Meijer Community Rewards program:

• Current cardholders should have received a letter regarding the changes.
• Rewards will be earned for purchases made with a Meijer Credit Card at the rate of 1% and when using cash or debit at the rate of 0.5%.
• You must re-enroll, either online Meijer.com/MCRmember or call 1-800-962-7011. You will need your current Meijer Community Rewards card number to re-enroll.
• You will receive a new Meijer Community Rewards card with a new number.
• Our organization number is 191128.

Note: There is only one organization number for Blessed Sacrament. Funds are primarily used for our children and youth programs (Parish School and Faith Formation).

Blessed Sacrament School is collecting General Mills Box Tops. The funds raised through this program will benefit our school through the purchase of technology and also allow the children to participate in stewardship by giving 10% of the funds to a charity of their choosing.

We are not asking you to go out of your way to purchase these products, but if you are currently doing so, please take a few extra minutes to "clip" the Box Tops off the packaging. Each Box Top is worth 10¢. A pink collection box has been placed outside the school office. The school office can also provide a list of participating products.
