Game Night Fun!

Blessed Sacrament’s first game night was a success!

Our Blessed Sacrament Parish family came out to play at our Parish Family Game Night on January 20!  We were thrilled to see close to 100 people join us for the evening. Folks enjoyed foosball, ping pong, corn hole, and other yard games in the gym. Bingo was such a huge hit, we kept the game going into overtime! A couple of people told us this was the first time they had ever played Bingo! We saw games of Scrabble, Uno, Clue, and pinochle, and even a game of Twister played by some of the younger attendees!  And we for sure saw smiling faces everywhere!

Matt & Laura Allington take on Fr. Rob and Fr. Jack at the Euchre tournament!

Everyone enjoyed sloppy joes, pizza, and a potluck of snacks and desserts. The culmination of the evening was the Euchre tournament, where 20 teams (including our own Fr. Rob and Fr. Jack!) competed for the ultimate prize—a fancy new deck of cards and their names on the parish Euchre trophy!

Congratulations to Andrew and Sabrina Gilles, who won the tournament with points to spare! We heard from so many people that it was a wonderful evening that reminded them of “the old days!” We are so very blessed to have a parish family that enjoys spending a Friday evening together here “at home,” and we can’t wait to bring this parish family favorite back again next year.

We hope to see everyone at our next family event: The Parish Talent Show!
