Our Thanksgiving Meal: The Eucharist

The Eucharist is essential for us: it is Christ who wishes to enter our lives and fill us with his grace.
-Pope Francis

Have you ever wondered what it would have been like to be at the Last Supper?  Were the disciples all looking at Jesus?  Maybe some were staring at the floor?  Was it a celebration or was the mood a nervous one?

When Jesus starting washing feet, what were the reactions?  When he said, “eat my flesh and drink my blood,” what did that feel and sound like?

Well, the reality of the Eucharist is that we are there.  Every time we celebrate the Eucharist, we are all united with the entire body of Christ.

Let’s talk about how!
