Children’s Liturgy of the Word

Children’s Liturgy of the Word

The Liturgy of the Word comes after the Introductory Rites at Mass and includes the readings, the Homily, the Creed, and the Prayer of the Faithful.  Children’s Liturgy of the Word (CLOW) takes the same components and interprets them into child-friendly language and themes.  The goal is for the children to “graduate” into Mass with an understanding of both the Sunday gospel and the underlying structure of the Mass.

This year, we will return to our biweekly Children’s Liturgy of the Word during 11:00 Sunday mass.  As we continue to be vigilant about the safety of our children and their unvaccinated family members, we will require masks to be worn during Children’s Liturgy of the Word.

See below for this year’s Children’s Liturgy of the Word calendar.
