Divorce Support and Care
Our Divorce Support and Care Group is a compassionate and safe space designed to help individuals navigate the emotional, social, and practical challenges of divorce. This group provides participants with tools, encouragement, and a sense of community during a difficult life transition. This group is open to individuals at any stage of the divorce process.
1. Purpose and Goals:
- Offer emotional support to those going through or recovering from divorce.
- Provide practical guidance on topics like co-parenting, finances and communication with the ex-spouse.
- Foster personal growth, healing, and resilience.
2. Structure:
- Regular Meetings: Monthly
- Facilitators: Led by peer facilitator(s) with personal experience in divorce.
- Group Size: Small groups (2-10 participants) to ensure everyone has the chance to share.
3. Key Components:
- Emotional Support: Safe space for sharing feelings of grief, anger, fear, and loneliness.
- Educational Content: Discussions on topics like self-care, rebuilding confidence, managing finances, and legal rights.
- Peer Support: Opportunities to connect with others who are experiencing similar challenges.
