Collection for Migrant Families
The Diocese of Saginaw Migrant Ministry will welcome approximately 80 migrant families representing over 200 individuals to our area this summer as they come to work in the fields. These families bring very little with them and are responsible for providing their own housing and food.
To help support their basic needs, the Blessed Sacrament Social Justice Committee will sponsor a collection of items April 11 thru April 26. Collection boxes will be located at the parish center entrances. In addition, on the weekend of April 25 and 26, after all the Masses, there will be a “Stuff the Truck” event. On this weekend, you can bring your donations to the truck located outside the church at the baptismal font entrance. Thank you for your generosity and support.
How to Donate
Donation boxes will be placed inside the east and west entrances of the parish center.
