Job Opening: Maintenance Coordinator

Full-Time Maintenance Coordinator Position

Blessed Sacrament has an open full-time Maintenance Coordinator position for the church and parish. This role includes weekend and evening maintenance and janitorial responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

Routine cleaning and maintenance of the church worship space, offices, social hall, gym, kitchen, classrooms, and meeting rooms.
Set up for parish events and functions.
Perform minor repairs (e.g., doors, tables, chairs, etc.).
Snow removal, salting, and general groundskeeping (mulching, weeding, trimming, etc.).
Trash and recycling removal.
Follow established security procedures to close and lock parish facilities.

Qualifications / Requirements:

Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stretch, walk, kneel, and stand for extended periods.
Ability to work weekends and evenings.
Valid driver’s license.
Ability to follow MI-OSHA safety procedures.
Willingness to assist with on-call emergencies.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
