On February 16 from 1:00-3:30 and from 6:30-9:00 we will watch and discuss CHOCOLAT.

Come and see what happens when the exotic stranger Vianne Rocher arrives in the old French village of Lansquenet and opens a chocolate boutique called “La Celeste Praline” directly across the square from the church and Father Reynaud identifies her as a serious danger to his flock.” To make matters worse she opens her shop at the beginning of Lent “For the first time, here is a story in which chocolate enjoys its true importance, emerging as an agent of transformation. Rich, clever, and mischievous, reminiscent of a folk tale or fable, this is a triumphant story with a memorable character at its heart.”
