This past year, the Blessed Sacrament Faith Formation Team reminded everyone through our theme that We’re Home. No matter where you go or how far you travel, when you return here, you are home. Come as you are and be welcomed with open arms, an eager heart, and plenty of fun, joyful, thoughtful events and conversations, and boy did we have a lot of events and conversations! In fact, so many of you let us know how much you loved the Home themed events we offered this year, such as the Family Movie Night, Trunk-or-Treat, and Game Night, that we have decided to make these annual events to keep this home welcoming and strong! The time has come, however, to transition from the We’re Home theme and look ahead to the amazing things we can do next year!
The Faith Formation Team is looking to build on the homemade foundations we laid by spreading the love of Christ to others in our parish and community through service, work, and compassionate love. With that in mind, we are very excited to announce the 2023-24 Faith Formation theme, Kingdom Builders! We are all called to be builders of God’s Kingdom as ambassadors of Christ to make a Kingdom not of this world, but of that in Heaven. When Christ taught us how to pray, he said to us “Your kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.” We are on a mission to be doers and builders of the kingdom of heaven here on earth. So let’s get to work!
