Join us to create a unique mosaic tile honoring our mother Mary while learning about some of the flowers and legends associated with a traditional garden dedicated to Mary. You will have time to plan your own design using glass gems and stones to press into a circle-shaped concrete form. While it dries, we will discuss flowers and herbs that are related to Mary by her features, attributes, or garments. You will be given a list of suggestions for your own personal Mary Garden to take with you along with your newly created garden stone.
Come at 1:30 or 6:30 pm on Wednesday, May 22nd. The class might be held outdoors since we are working with cement, weather permitting.
RSVP to Christy by May 19th to ensure that there are enough molds for everyone to create their stone masterpiece. You can bring your own decorations if you have something special that you want to add.
